Allegro seeks an experienced Systems Integration Manager. Systems Integration Managers serve as subject matter experts on software support projects. These are customer-facing that might include minimal travel.
. Challenges of the position include:
Responsibility for the overall quality of the technical support delivered to the customer.
Serving as an energy industry subject matter expert in field of expertise as it relates to business software functionality. Expertise and work efforts focus primarily on the support of Allegro?s proprietary software products.
Acting as point of contact between the implementation and R&D team. The Systems Integration Manager feeds information from the field back to R&D and is responsible for getting field knowledge feed back into the development cycle.
Staying on the cutting the edge of new market development and of product development.
Educating the team in best practices and taking on responsibility for mentoring others.
Qualifications for consideration:
Ideal candidates for Systems Integration Managers will have extensive experience in the energy industry, particularly energy trading, physical movement of commodities, and energy risk management.
Candidates are self-starters that can work independently with minimal supervision. Must be a subject matter expert yet able to wear many hats - not afraid to take on new items outside core strengths. Able to develop creative solutions for solving business issues and is willing to roll-up sleeves and dig to find/create solutions; gets the job done no matter what.
Experience with other energy trading and risk management (ETRM) or related systems, particularly software implementation experience, is highly desirable.
This is a highly technical role that will include creating SQL statements and Stored Procedures on a daily basis as well as some C# debugging/development. Additionally, touble-shooting/editing of custom extensions and class events will be required.
Dynamic and credible presence, outstanding communication skills and the ability to lead, train, and mentor others is a must!
