Full Time PositionThe Search Agency, an innovator in the Internet Search Marketing industry, is looking for a motivated Systems/Network Administrator. You will manage Linux-based production and software development systems across multiple physical locations around the world. This position reports directly to the CTO.
The Systems/Network Administrator is required to travel to the Boston area using their own vehicle once a month. Air travel to California and other locations is required a few times a year.
Skills/Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have:
5-10 years of experience with Linux on the desktop and on secure servers
Know how to manage Java Application (JBoss), PHP, and mySQL servers
Familiar with Asterisk PBX systems
Comfortable scripting in Perl and bash
Comfortable with installing, using, and modifying system administration software such as Nagios, Cacti, and other performance monitoring platforms
Able to handle complex networking projects that include multi-site routing, firewalls, VPN, VoIP, and various network services
Knowledge using cloud computing platforms such as Amazon AWS
Willing to work with other outsource partners in the US and abroad
More in depth DBA and/or programming experience is a plus
Experience with Windows on both servers and desktops is a plus
