Responsibilities:
At OLS, we develop payment and non-payment transaction processing software, focusing on high performance, high volume, and innovative features and applications for our customers. Our Systems and Network Admins are specialists that lay a solid foundation in which our applications run. Admins proactively take care of this foundation by utilizing sound IT practices: planning, preventive maintenance, monitoring, setting up, and doing things the right way. Admins also keep our team members productive on their computers supporting them both on and off-site.
Support OLS offices LAN and WAN environment and OLS datacenter environments
MS Windows and Linux (CentOS/RHEL) server administration
MSSQL and MySQL database administration
Cisco firewall, router, switch administration
JBoss Server administration
Backup and recovery of systems, software and data
Configure and maintain monitoring and alerting systems
Ability to be ?on call? and to travel to OLS facilities for troubleshooting
Assist with Host Based & Network Based IDS, Web Application Firewalls, and Centralized Logging
Assist in preparation for audits (SAS70, PCI DSS)
Work with external parties/consultants as required
Support developing and implementing processes as documented in our policies, procedures and operating practices, including:
IT Security Policy
Incident response plan
Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity Planning
System Configuration Standards
Firewall and Network Management
Change Management
Patch Management
Configuration Management
Risk and Vulnerability Assessment
Ability to install and configure OLS Applications and support customers
Understanding of shell or batch file scripting for automated operations and jobs
Familiarity with configuring Highly Available environments
Experience with Storage Area Networks and Network Load Balancing
Qualifications:
Technical background with good English-writing skills
Strong communication, collaboration and team-work skills
Self-starter who is resourceful and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
A person that takes pride and ownership in their work
Located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Area
Ability to work during off-hours as required
