Systems-Networking Engineer / Hacker / Extraordinaire Spotflux

Spotflux is a NYC based venture-funded early stage startup. We're building an incredibly powerful internet tool that has true global reach. We need your help to build it from our current beta to a scalable viral must-have product. We are looking for highly capable and motivated individuals to spend their energy doing the best work that they can do.

Candidate must be familiar with systems and networking architecture and supporting a useable, working product that you are proud of.

Do you enjoy the challenge of building fault-resistant, HA, and rapidly scaleable infrastructures? Do you use your ingenuity to find ways to exploit network limitations and solve complex scalability issues? Do you consider yourself the best of the best when it comes to understanding network complexity?

We can offer all of these challenges plus cutting edge work with network protocols and p2p technology.

CLI familiarity in -nix systems is a must. Experience working in a start-up environment, particularly with experience in scalability, with a small dedicated core team is a major plus. A solid foundational knowledge of routing, SSL, network protocols, encryption, load balancing, etc is required.
