Home Based - San Diego area, or Denver Colorado or Southern California with up to 50% travel throughout the South West territory.

Duties:About the Position:
This is a technical member of the sales team covering the South West region of the United States
Work with Account Manager to identify, qualify and close new sales
Develop technical responses to RFI/RFP
Recognize and interpret customer needs, and architect comprehensive solutions
Develop and conduct product presentations involving system architecture and design, system troubleshooting
Travel throughout the region to perform technical sales, and position Penguin solutions vs. competitors
Compensation includes commission based on sales performance and attainment of team goals
Qualifications:Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux server environments
Strong knowledge of High Performance Computing (HPC) application development
In-depth knowledge of cluster technologies and optimization techniques
Minimum of three years technical sales experience, proven track record of closing deals with sales team
Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Specific vertical experience and contacts are desirable
Ability to travel as needed up to 50% through the assigned region
