A Private company, Azimuth Systems Inc. (www.azimuthsystems.com) is a leading provider of wireless broadband test equipment and channel emulators for Wi-Fi, WiMAX, LTE and other 4G technologies. Azimuth?s products are
used by the world?s foremost wireless semiconductor and system vendors as well as by leading service providers to
speed time-to-market and improve wireless service quality. Azimuth?s standardized test solutions enable research,
development, QA and marketing engineers to test the performance, conformance and certification of broadband
wireless devices and networks supporting data, voice and video applications.
Currently we are seeking a talented, multi-faceted individual for a role with a mix of solution-architecture and
System/SW engineering to join our solutions team at our office in Acton, MA in the continued development of
Azimuth?s test and measurement products. The focus of this role is on creating solutions centered around test
automation and applications to enhance and evolve Azimuth?s offerings, with active engagement with Azimuth?s
customers.
Responsibilities:
? Develop test plans, test cases, test environments, test post?processing tools while managing effort on multiple
concurrent projects
? Help customers perform testing using complex test?beds, collate and analyze results with an eye toward easy and
effective usability and high quality of results
? Pro?actively identify issues, collaborate with developers to diagnose them and improve the capabilities of current
solutions
? Design and develop custom automated test scripts and application SW to perform stress, load and performance tests
? C# or similar OOD experience; GUI design; proficiency with scripting (TCL/Tk), parsing and other test?automation
related skills
? Ability to understand how to set?up and use complex test set?ups with different Azimuth and third?party test
equipment
? Understand the systems aspects of the testing being done, and be able to clearly communicate with customers
regarding Azimuth?s capabilities.
? 30% travel is required both domestic and international
Requirements:
? MSEE preferred; BSEE or BSCS required
? Sound understanding of networking principles, wireless technologies, especially, Digital Communication Systems (RF,
Modulation, digital signal processing, etc.) through academics or industry experience
? Proficiency in software coding skills, knowledge of C# preferred; knowledge of Tcl or similar scripting language,
parsing languages very desirable.
? Hands?on experience in the lab or industry position a must, test automation experience very desirable
