Systems Test Engineer AirCell
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED In an Agile Scrum environment the Systems Test Engineer will be responsible for automating and manually testing system behavior that is defined in use cases, epics, stories and nonfunctional requirements for avionics data communications, voice communications and inflight entertainment equipment. Additional duties include test plan, test script and test case development, as well as execution of tests for system validation, based on requirements.
The Test Engineer will work on the next generation system for Aircell, combining several key products into a single solution on the aircraft. This system will centralize data communication, voice communication, integrate into CDMA and satellite systems, provide Inflight media streaming and entertainment, and integrate into ground based wireless networks and aircraft systems.

Reviews product integration requirements for completeness, accuracy and testability.
Develops, implements and maintains automated and manual test cases.
Conducts iterative testing of system deliverables.
Documents test cases and test results.
Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Engineering
2 - 5 years of Software and System testing experience.
1+ years of experience developing test automation.
Experience and Skills
Experience in system integration testing in a telecommunications, data communications and/or regulated electronics industries.
Proficiency with Linux operating systems.
Applied programming experience, Python preferred.
Industry experience in wired and wireless data communication, telecommunication and VoIP. Experience with satellite communications is a plus.
Ability to work independently with little supervision, as well as working inclusively within a multidisciplinary or multicultural team.
Flexibility and a positive attitude towards change in an Agile development environment.
Effectively and regularly communicates with direct management and project team, as appropriate.
Experience testing mobile platform (iPhone, Android, Blackberry) applications a plus.
