We are currently seeking a T3S Product Management and Marketing Manager
Job Summary:
The T3S Product Management and Marketing Manager is responsible for the definition, management and marketing activities for a family of DDN Professional Services & Customer Support products. The PMM Manager defines the portfolio of Professional Services and Customers support offerings and translates the capabilities into tangible customer benefits that create a value proposition for the customer. This is accomplished by having a deep understanding of the market, the competition, the purchasing criteria of the customer and their long-term business needs. This position will be located in our Sunnyvale, CA office, but it may have flexibility for REMOTE work as well.
Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
?Manage the T3S Professional Services and Customer Support Products in partnership with the T3S Management team to define product vision, strategy and planning, product requirements definition and documentation, and product release schedule.
?Assess customer needs, technology trends, and major competitors in order to synthesize product requirements; utilize market research and analysis to develop and maintain a long-range product road map.
?Act as key product evangelist for the Professional Service & Support products both within DDN and to our customer base.
?Lead Product Envisioning Sessions with customers and inter-departmental teams to define product requirements and strategies.
?Develop Functional Requirements Documents that define product enhancements and development initiatives.
?Manage the development of prototypes illustrating specific product enhancements and development initiatives.
?Assume ownership of all product deliverables throughout all phases of the Product Life Cycle.
?Assume direct ownership of key product deliverables such as concept and requirements definition documents, and sales and marketing tools.
?Coordinate and manage the efforts of cross-departmental personnel during Product Life Cycle.
?Develop tactical marketing plans and collateral in partnership with the Marcom team and drive to implementation.
?Prepare ?customer ready? presentations on assigned products.
?Create product trainings and promotions for the Sales team.
?Ensure the sales team is trained to position and defend DDN Professional Service and Support products and strategies.
?Partner with the Solutions organization to ensure proper marketing of DDN Solutions and Solution Blueprints.
?Drive the internal communications strategy and plan within T3S.
Qualifications for this role are:
?5+ year?s experience in a Product Marketing and Management role.
?Good understanding of the Storage industry with an in-depth knowledge of professional Services and Customers Support.
?Ability to understand changing market dynamics, translating them into actionable strategy and implementing the strategy to achieve pre-set objectives.
?Very strong written communication skills and the ability to present effectively and persuasively at all levels.
?Excellent people skills and the ability to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties.
?BA/BS degree or equivalent within Marketing, Business or a related function.
