Freescale is seeking a talent acquisition intern to help our Austin, TX team with continue to attract and hire the very best talent for our local business units.
? Learn and carry out duties related to full cycle recruiting of experienced and university candidates, including resume reviews, sourcing candidates through Linked In, Indeed.com and other resources, phone screening candidates, arranging interviews, preparing and providing information to candidates, dispositioning candidates in our talent management system (Taleo) and supporting PERM Immigration Visa activities.
? Assist in the execution of the Freescale College Hires Summer Engagement Program, including:
o Scheduling events
o Executing events (including setup , speaker introductions, breakdown)
o Securing college hire feedback / suggestions
? Assist in the planning for Fall 2014 university hiring events, including:
o Researching and collecting data on current and potential target universities
o Registering for campus information sessions, career fairs and on campus interviews
o Updating Freescale brand collateral for use during campus events
? Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality in matters that require discretion
? Pursuing a bachelor?s or master?s degree in business, human resources, or similar
? Minimum 3.25 GPA
? Ability to learn quickly and follow processes and procedures
? Strong communication, project management and organizational skills required
? Strong attention to detail
? Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
? Previous experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems such as Taleo preferred, but not required
? Interest in a career in talent acquisition preferred, but not required
? Prior internships and/or work in an office environment preferred, but not required
