MediaMath is seeking an experienced talent acquisition professional to proactively identify and assess talent for many departments in our rapidly growing organization, e.g. Sales, Platform and Trading. This role will be a key addition to a strong existing HR team by sourcing and identifying the very best talent in the ad tech ecosystem. This key hire will utilize their competitive intelligence and industry knowledge to persuade top-tier candidates to engage and interview at MediaMath. Partner with hiring managers to understand the unique needs of the team and the particular skill sets, deal-critical competencies and personality traits needed to excel as part of a particular team
Work closely with the HR team to develop and execute tactical sourcing strategies
Utilize your superior rolodex as well as referrals, networking, and internet searches to source passive candidates
Manage the candidate pipeline and confidently and competently filter through candidates, assessing cultural fit, experience, and curiosity about the ad tech space
Screen potential candidates through phone screens, role-specific homework assignments, etc.
Screen candidates for availability, interest level, salary range, cultural fit, etc.
Meet and greet each candidate at in person interviews, guiding them through the interview process and managing their expectations
Conduct feedback sessions with the interview team, documenting their feedback and helping the hiring manager come to a decision
Work with the HR Coordinator to maintain candidate flow spreadsheets, making sure candidates are responded to in a timely fashion
You have 2-5 years recruiting or sourcing experience in a search-firm or start-up recruiting environment.
Knowledge and understanding of the ad tech industry
You?ve worked with hiring managers and interview teams before to help understand their needs and help them throughout the hiring process
You understand how to recruit passive candidates and can identify those with winning traits and values that are aligned with the company?s
You have an eye for detail, strong intuition for cultural fit, and relentless follow-through
You are persistent but not pushy, independent but still a team player, and eager to join a fast-paced environment where intelligence and a sense of humor are keys to success
Experience with applicant tracking systems, including LinkedIn Recruiter
Excellent organizational skills and a proven system for tracking candidate progress through the interview process
