The Talent Acquisition Recruiter will support the Customer Service department and play an integral role in identifying and growing MINDBODY?s pipeline of talent. The selected incumbent will work with internal and external candidates through the entire recruitment life-cycle, including- sourcing, screening, interview set-up, offers, negotiations, and closing.? The Recruiter will stay current with the changing trends in the job market and readily source quality candidates using strategic methodologies, such as- business intelligence, internal and external networks, professional organizations, job fairs, college recruitment, social media, local/national job boards, and technology tools in support of business objectives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. Equivalent professional work experience may be substituted for a degree. A Bachelor?s Degree is preferred.
Minimum of 6 ? 12 months talent acquisition experience identifying candidates to meet business needs in a fast paced, corporate or agency environment.
MINDBODY product knowledge is a plus.
Prior sales background is preferred, as well as experience with resume sourcing techniques utilizing LinkedIn, job boards, and professional / social networking sites.
Knowledge of the H1B Visa Procedures and relevant immigration laws.?
Strong negotiation skills and excellent closing skills. Ability to ascertain and communicate the employment value proposition and total reward package in a way that is most meaningful to the respective candidate.
Utilizes persuasive ability, influencing skills and expertise to effectively resolve difficult issues with hiring managers and candidates.
Skilled in behavioral based interviewing techniques.?
Ability to organize and prioritize projects in a deadline oriented and rapidly changing business environment. Ability to process a high volume of error free detailed work.
Must be able to work independently, have a positive outlook and excellent work ethic.
Professional, polished & positive demeanor.
Demonstrated critical thinking, objectivity, flexibility & strong negotiation skills.
Excellent listening and communication skills; both oral and written.
Occasional day trips and overnight travel for recruitment and training. Be available to work before & after typical office hours as workload dictates.
Proficiency with MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Ability to learn and become proficient in utilizing HR and candidate tracking databases.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a representative list of the general duties the position may be asked to perform and is not intended to be all-inclusive.
Full life cycle recruitment primarily supporting the Customer Service department. Positions will include, but not limited to entry level up to managers. As priorities allow, the recruiter will also assist with other department?s openings.
Sources potential candidates through a variety of methods to fill positions for the home and satellite office, as well as remote positions, including domestic and international.
Engages with candidates as a single point of contact.? Develops, builds & maintains internal candidate relationships through ongoing communications and promoting interest in the company, to yield a qualified pipeline of interested talent.
Posts open positions and updates the disposition of candidates in the applicant tracking database. Creates offers, conducts references and processes background checks.
Screens candidates for full understanding of availability, interest levels, salary range, relocation needs, visa status and basic qualifications.? Evaluates employment factors such as job experience, education, skills, training, fit with organization, and future potential.?
Provides candidates with information regarding compensation, benefits, policies and procedures.
Is responsive and accessible to the hiring managers. Builds strong relationships with hiring managers to ensure hiring requirements are understood, anticipated and met.? Provides a consultative approach to his / her business partners.
Maintains knowledge of the changing environment of the workforce in the marketplace. Stays abreast of the latest trends in utilizing job boards, niche sites, job fairs, professional associations, networking, strategic advertising and social media to maintain a pipeline of warm leads.
Attends local and national job fairs and other external events to attract qualified candidates and to promote the company.
Tracks and analyzes internal recruiting metrics and deliverables. Provides regular reports on the status of positions and presents data and solutions, as needed.
Provides training to supervisors involving online candidate assessment tools, behavioral interviewing and recruitment techniques.
Effectively handles challenging and sensitive personnel situations, while maintaining confidentiality and exhibiting sound logic and judgment.
Strong self-awareness and emotional intelligence. Must be approachable, patient, helpful and remain calm under challenging circumstances.
Maintains current knowledge of applicable laws, regulations and trends in recruitment. Ensures compliance with established procedures and applicable laws.?
Actively pursues professional growth and development by regularly participating in educational programs and training events. Acquisition of AIRS certification will be evaluated.
Supports various functional and administrative requirements of the HR Department.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to lift, push and carry up to 20 pounds to support the participation at recruitment events. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to walk and sit at a desk, read and comprehend, reason and analyze, use repetitive fine finger movements, see, talk and hear. The noise level in this work environment is usually moderate.
Scope of Supervision: Duties are performed under limited supervision. This individual may make routine decisions on behalf of the company. For decisions and strategies outside of routine scope of duties, he / she will seek supervisor assistance. The selected individual will utilize their supervisor and / or business partner for items that entail second level support, such as, recruitment strategies for hard to fill positions, negotiations, and counter-offers. This position requires self-direction and continuous evaluation of true priorities to ensure completion by deadlines. All decisions and consulting will reflect adherence with internal policies and state and federal law.
