JOB SUMMARY: The Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) is responsible for all aspects of talent sourcing and recruiting, operating as a business partner with specific focus on building an understanding of the business and staffing needs for the company?s hiring managers. The TAS will be challenged to develop new, creative recruiting ideas employing traditional and non-traditional sourcing strategies, and utilizing appropriate venues to identify and recruit appropriate candidates. The TAS will play a crucial role in ensuring the company hires the highest quality talent for all corporate positions. This position may not conduct any activities that require evaluation or interpretation of clinical information.
Planning & Organizing
Education/License/Certification: BA/BS degree in related field, High School Diploma or GED required.
2 years minimum prior Talent Acquisition experience in a corporate setting, staffing company, or both.
Previous experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems such as Taleo, OpenHire, SmartSearch, MaxHire, or similar.
Previous experience with behavioral interviewing techniques.
Knowledge of state and federal employment laws.
Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives and meeting with hiring managers to gain a thorough understanding of their needs;
Identifies future talent needs and proactively recruits and sources, develops talent pool;
Determines applicant requirements by studying job descriptions and job qualifications;
Develops recruitment strategies including job posting optimization, job board procurement, digital and non-digital employment marketing, and comprehensive recruiting campaign planning;
Identifies and sources appropriate talent for current open roles within the organization, using social media, job boards, internet sourcing, and other technical means to source candidates.
Works collaboratively with other members of the Talent team to identify internal candidates;
Manages the recruitment process and life-cycle, including initial assessments, interviews, and offers;
Works with hiring managers to identify appropriate interview team; develops behavioral interviewing guides and coordinates with interview team on their use; gathers and consolidates interview team feedback;
Develops and implements employer branding strategies;
Reinforces company?s brand and customer promise in all communications, including job postings and interviews;
Develops and administers new hire follow up program, meeting with new employees at regular intervals during their first year of employment;
Develops relationships with third-party recruitment agencies and staffing firms, manages the procurement and measurement process;
Develops college recruiting programs;
Administers and maintains recruiting related systems including the Applicant Tracking System and the company?s automated behavioral interviewing application; and
Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation, enforcing regulations with hiring managers, recommending new procedures, and conducting training when required.
