The Talent Acquisition Manager will be a key member of the Empyrean Human Resources team, reporting directly to the CHRO. He/she will be responsible for leading and fulfilling all the tactical objectives and activities of the hiring process to employ the best skill-fit employees in support of the Company?s vision, mission and strategic plan. As an HR professional, the Talent Acquisition Manager will succeed in this important role by developing and implementing recruiting plans and strategies, always striving to source and acquire the best possible talent.
The Talent Acquisition Manager will lead and execute full life cycle talent acquisition services, which will require an in-depth knowledge of both Talent and Program Management.
The Talent Acquisition Manager position is challenging and often fast-paced; working with the internal HR team, hiring managers and a network of established contacts to find and hire the right person for every given position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Full life cycle recruiting; sourcing, screening, on-site interviews, crafting and delivering offers, and initiating the on-boarding process.
Partner with senior leaders, managers and employees to provide Just-In-Time market data and competitive analysis that enable leaders to make business/hiring decisions regarding salary trends, etc.
Partner with the HR team in enhancing the existing recruiting program through building a Recruiting Strategy/Toolkit to include; sourcing, candidate assessment, compensation, recruiting metrics, and retention strategies.
Facilitate brainstorming sessions to assist in identifying key competencies, building out of job descriptions, etc.
Conduct regular meetings to communicate status regarding current openings, candidate status, market challenges, evaluation of trend analysis, etc.
Develop, augment and/or introduce Sourcing Strategies as needed; i.e., enhancement of the on-line job posting strategies, including researching new job boards and websites.
Execute sourcing efforts which include, but not limited to various Internet sourcing tools for candidate mining, direct marketing, research, creation of name generation lists using both traditional and non-traditional mediums, Employee Referral Program, etc.:
Traditional resources to include: LinkedIn, monster.com CareerBuilder, theladders.com, stackoverflow, 6figurejobs.com, dice, indeed.com, ziprecruiter, simplyhired.com, etc.
Leverage social media sites, specialty sites; i.e., LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Twitter, Facebook, niche sites, discussion forums, list groups, etc.
Responsible for direct sourcing, invasive recruiting against created contact lists; i.e., headhunting/cold calling.
Responsible for screening all levels of candidates, building and maintaining an ongoing candidate pipeline using research, networking events and database information.
Developing relationships with applicants identified for future, anticipated, or newly created roles; i.e., high-touch proactive pipeline development and management.
Database Management; consistently reviewing pipeline for each job requisition and dispositioning candidates accordingly.
Utilize the existing Applicant Tracking System, maintaining all applicant and interview information.
Manage the Recruiting Coordinator:
Applicant travel; i.e., travel logistics, expense reimbursement and other administrative tasks associated with the candidates and new hire process
Scheduling candidate debrief sessions
Offer process; i.e., assembly and distribution of new hire packages, maintenance of collateral supplies and brochures, facilitating the background checking process, assuring that new hire paperwork is completed and that the new employee is set for orientation
Job posting process updating, tracking open roles in the Applicant Tracking System and associated sourcing boards; e.g., Ziprecruiter, monster, CareerBuilder, indeed, simplyhired, specialty boards and groups, 6figurejobs, dice, university boards, etc.
Special projects as assigned.
Required Experience and Skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
At least 5 years related experience
Strategic thinker who understands the talent market and competitive dynamics and can help shape Empyrean?s market branding and positioning
Proven track record of effective candidate generation and talent acquisition abilities in technology, consulting and/or services industry
Demonstrated experience in strong client management and consulting skills; ability to influence
Energetic, passionate, highly self-motivated and organized individual
Outstanding interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
