Description
The project management role exists as part of the Workscape Talent Management Solutions Business line and is accountable for the delivery of projects (including kick-off, requirements definition, design, development, testing, deployment and on-going support.) Projects are to be delivered on time, within budget, with high-quality and must meet the defined project success factors.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for delivery of projects on time to budget while meeting established project success factors. Responsible for the creation and management of project plans utilizing the Workscape project management methodology. Manages own activities for one or more projects and those of project team members and accountable for executing plans. Oversee issues resolution and conduct the appropriate risk assessments to appropriately define risk mitigation plans.
- Manages scope of project through execution and monitoring of the Statement of Work (SOW) and requirements. Initiates/formalizes/enforces new requests through the change control process.
- Responsible for monitoring project issues/challenges and ensuring resolution through the engagement of appropriate team resources. Addresses conflicts or points of contention professionally and diplomatically.
- Tracks and reports progress to plan and budget, documents minutes, status reporting and other administrative duties related to the project.
- Follows escalation process when matters need to be escalated.
- Ensures lessons learned are accurately captured, experiences leveraged and shared across the Business Unit
Qualifications
- BA / BS Degree
- 3-5 years project management experience or equivalent
- Skilled in MS Office Product Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
- Ability to manage multiple project initiatives simultaneously
- Strong customer service management skills Carefully listens to customer needs and requests, responds politely/professionally in a timely fashion.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good project and financial planning, tracking and reporting skills
- Good client management skills
- Good change control management skills
- Able to work autonomously
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Previous systems implementation experience and application development lifecycle
- Solid foundation of project management lifecycle.
