Description:
Plateau is seeking a Talent Management Specialist who possesses in-depth, hands-on experience in all areas of Talent Management and a solid understanding of Human Resources best practices in the areas of performance management, compensation management, and succession planning. This person will act as a subject matter expert and be responsible for helping drive innovative solutions that address customers talent management needs and ensure that we have best-in-class talent management products. This position is located in our Headquarters office in Arlington, VA.
Job Duties include:
Define product strategies for Plateaus Talent Management software in the areas of performance management, compensation, and succession planning that help ensure that our software meets industry best practices
Work with customers, prospects, industry experts, and internal stakeholders to define product strategy and requirements
Determine the scope and schedule of product releases and the priority of features within the overall product plan
Develop functional requirements for new talent management features and work with product engineering, testing, and documentation to ensure that the right product functionality is released into the marketplace
Serve as a subject matter expert for talent management internally and externally; deliver presentations to customers and prospects; assist in the development of positioning, case studies, and white papers as needed
Required qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years experience in HR/organizational management positions in the private sector
Successful track record of strategic HR work in multiple industries, with a focus on driving the implementation of new HR programs, especially those involving online performance management, compensation management, and succession planning software
Specific knowledge of best practices in the following areas is essential:

o Talent reviews

o Regulatory compliance
o Compensation management
o Pay for performance
o Short and long-term incentive compensation
Strong analytical, research and problem solving skills.
Ability to effectively and accurately manage multiple tasks and complex projects in a fast paced environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex topics and interact with all levels of management and associates.
Ability to work independently and cooperatively / collaboratively as part of a team, developing productive working relationships with diverse groups of people.
Knowledge of Talent Management/HCM software and certifications in Human Resources Management (e.g., Society for Human Resources Management) is a strong plus.
Consulting experience in the area of Talent Management is a strong plus.
