This position manages routine to moderately complex activities of the tax department including US Federal, state and international non income and income tax compliance, tax accounting, research and planning.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the preparation of the US GAAP global tax provision for income tax under ASC 740 in One Source Tax Provision software ensuring that the company's tax provision and balance sheet tax accounts are properly stated as well as responsible for preparation of the tax related items included in the SEC publicly reported financial statements including the preparation of the quarterly and annual tax footnote and required supporting documentation.
Maintenance of tax related Sarbanes-Oxley 404 documentation including working with internal/external auditors to ensure that internal controls related to the Tax Department are properly maintained.
Responsible for the preparation of the US Federal and state income and non-income tax compliance process ensuring that all Federal, state, and local income tax returns, estimated payments and US withholding taxes are accurate and timely filed including information gathering and preparation of all book tax adjustments and coordination with third party tax return preparers.
Responsible for preparation and maintenance of tax long range forecast model including quarterly and ad hoc updates.
Manage all foreign income tax filings for each jurisdiction ensuring that returns are timely filed, book tax adjustments are made as appropriate and all tax attributes (i.e., NOLs) are appropriately tracked and maintained including working with local tax providers and internal accounting teams.
Responsible for the preparation of all sales/use and property tax filings for each jurisdiction ensuring that all returns are timely filed and accurate as well as the appropriate amount of indirect taxes are accrued on the financial statements.
Prepare all provision to return reconciliations and related tax accounting adjustments.
Assist with the preparation of income and non-income tax (i.e., sales and property taxes) journal entries and forecasting.
Preparation and maintenance of worldwide tax calendar in OneSource Software including monitoring of due dates and compliance to ensure timely and accurate tax related filings and accruals.
Assist with tax planning projects to minimize global taxes and financial statement impact of global taxes including initiation and development of tax planning strategies.
Assist with any tax related special projects including planning, research, modeling of tax implications of special projects, etc.

Minimum of four years of tax compliance, tax provision and tax planning experience in an accounting firm.
Experience in a multi-national corporation subject to SEC reporting requirements preferred.
Experience in US Federal and state corporate and partnership tax compliance.
Experience in researching domestic and international tax issues and related documentation including technical tax memorandums.
Must have exceptional planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work and to ensure deadlines are met.
Must be detail oriented, creative, and possess strong problem solving skills.
Strong communication skills in writing and verbal to interface with internal and external personnel worldwide.
Highly motivated individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills a must have.
OneSource Tax Provision experience preferred.
Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting.
