Lumension is seeking an experienced Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) Administrator and reports expert to help with continually investigating and migrating TFS collections to new versions as is needed by the company. This position will review latest MSDN releases and patches to ensure the lifeblood of our R&D department is well maintained and running smoothly. Includes the core functionalities of Visual Studio 2010 and 2012 integration through the new Coded UI and Microsoft Test Manager features. Will interact with R&D management, configuration management and agile sprint teams to provide creative and challenging reports. Show the company how TFS default templates and reports can provide a wealth of information without extensive modification!. Good TFS/SQL/OLAP report generation and metrics experience is essential.
Team Foundation Server (TFS) implementation and administration to support company's development efforts. Typically requires three to six years of technical experience in application lifecycle management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Implementation of TFS 2012 and Visual Studio integration along with Microsoft Test Manager
Microsoft TFS best practice recommendations
Consolidation of older TFS environments/versions/collections to TFS 2012 or 2013
Consolidation includes mapping of customized project templates to a different project templates as part of the ugprade
Process template customization/maintenance
Linking and reporting on test events (generic tests) back to specific builds
MS SQL report generation, manual and automated reports
Development of documented procedures
Focus of the position will be implementing TFS 2012 and making any required customization required to support internal development proccess. This will include writing reports to monitor work item activity and history within the TFS databases.

Advanced understanding of source control management
SQL Server Analysis Services (OLAP/MDX)
C# required, Managed C++ helpful
SQL 2008/2012 Reporting Services
Working knowledge of Windows Workflow Framework.
Bachelor's degree in business, software engineering or computer science; advanced degree desirable. Typically requires three to six years of experience in software design or product support.
2 to 5 years of TFS Administration experience
Experience migrating complex TFS collections from one version to another with custom modifications. At the interview be able to site examples, problems encountered and how you personally investigated and resolved the problem.
Bring an example of a TFS report (screenshot is okay) you have created that demonstrates your professional capabilities. If none are available be able to briefly draw the final report on a whiteboard and talk to it.
