Position Purpose:
The QA Team Lead will play a leadership role in the growth of the current quality assurance team. This includes working with the QA Manager to establish and institutionalize effective software testing processes that improve the quality posture of the Harmony solutions. The role will also include the responsibility of building out the automation test suite for various Harmony solutions. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to have a direct impact on Harmony's client success.
Responsibilities:
--Lead and mentor QA team members
--Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated)
--Lead a dedicated team of software testers, but still execute all software testing lifecycle responsibilities
--Evolve QA processes and software testing methodologies
--Test strategy definition
--Automating tests where appropriate
--Work collaboratively with software development and product management to develop test requirements and plans to ensure thorough test coverage for each product
--Ensure the technical solutions match the QA standards and customer requirements
--Ensure that QA process is documented, communicated, and executed to ensure agreed quality levels for each product
--Functional, System, Integration, and Regression test planning and standards
--Defect management

Qualifications:
--5+ years in software Quality Assurance with experience leading onshore and offshore teams
--Understanding of testing cycles, testing methodologies and testing processes
--Experience writing test cases from formal requirement specification and with minimal documentation
--Experience performing test case review
--Experience testing SaaS built applications
--Excellent testing skills
--Attention to detail
--Experience writing code to automate testing tasks, including automation frameworks
oExperience with Telerik Studio desired
--Excellent verbal and written communication skills
--Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
--Experience with QA processes, QA methodologies, QA artifacts and QA best practice
--Working experience in a technology environment.
--Strong problem-solving ability
--Experience with web-based database applications preferred
--Working knowledge of HIPAA standards and practices
--Must be able to work within tight deadlines and be adept at shifting priorities and time management
