Technical Account Manager, Asia Pacific - India Qualys
The Technical Account Manager (TAM) is responsible for actively driving and managing the pre and post-sales process with enterprise customers and partners across Asia Pacific with a primary focus on the Indian Subcontinent (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka). The TAM must have great communication skills and must be able to articulate the company's technology and product positioning and vision to both business and technical users. Qualys being a customer/service focused organization, the TAM must be able to identify all technical and business issues of assigned accounts and prospects to assure complete satisfaction through all stages of the sales process, and must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the cycle. The TAM will maintain pre and post-sales account ownership for technical and sales account management and act as the primary liaison for the assigned accounts.
-Deliver high-level and detailed sales presentations
-Provide product support and assist prospects, customers and partners with their technical and business related issues
-Convey customer requirements to Product Management, Marketing and Engineering teams
-Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
-Provide technical certification training to customers, partners and prospects
-Identify and develop potential new business opportunities
-Report through company's CRM system
-Attend conferences, seminars and tradeshows
The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with strong knowledge of IP networks, IT security, vulnerability management, compliance frameworks and business process management technologies. The TAM must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in response to emails, RFPs and when submitting reports. A can-do attitude combined with an organized and analytical mind are the skills required to be able to navigate and eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
-Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification
-5-7 years relevant experience
-Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
-Must be based in India (preferably in Bangalore), work from home and able to travel throughout the APAC territory
