The Technical Account Manager (TAM) is responsible for actively driving and managing the pre and post-sales process with enterprise customers and partners across Asia Pacific with a primary focus on South-East Asia. The TAM must have great communication skills and must be able to articulate the company's technology and product positioning and vision to both business and technical users. Qualys being a customer/service focused organisation, the TAM must be able to identify all technical and business issues of assigned accounts and prospects to assure complete satisfaction through all stages of the sales process, and must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the cycle. The TAM will maintain pre and post-sales account ownership for technical and sales account management and act as the primary liaison for the assigned accounts.
The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with strong knowledge of IP networks, IT security, vulnerability management, compliance frameworks and business process management technologies. The TAM must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in response to emails, RFPs and when submitting reports. A can-do attitude combined with an organized and analytical mind are the skills required to be able to navigate and eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
