Technical Account Manager (Data Science Focus) Metamarkets
We're searching for a Technical Account Manager who is passionate about understanding new business verticals, growing customer accounts, increasing customer success and working at a fast-paced, innovative technology startup.
Metamarkets is transforming business intelligence for some of the largest platform businesses on the web. Our top-tier, engaged and growing customer set includes billions-daily real time biddable (RTB) display, mobile and video marketplaces; leading digital publishers; market-leading location-based social networks; and web-scale multiplayer online gaming platforms.
The Technical Account Manager will be responsible for on-boarding new customers, helping bridge the gap between business questions and the Metamarkets platform, supporting customers in finding solutions to new problems, and growing internal adoption of customer accounts. Candidates should have experience working with data, quickly understanding new business rules for a customer, delivering training, and building trusted advisor relationships. This role plays an instrumental part in the overall success of the Sales and Success team.
Responsibilities
Review business requirements and available data to design an integration plan built on top of the Metamarkets platform
Work with engineering to execute on-boarding and integration plans, then manage integration plans with the client
Provide customer support to stakeholders and key users within accounts, and manage additional support requirements until resolved
Ensure all accounts successfully roll-out and scale-up, including integrating new users and new business units
Maintain proactive, regular contact with accounts at multiple levels in the organization, to maximize their success and usage
Provide customer feedback to development as part of the product enhancement cycle, to increase customer usage and product stickiness
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience with customer-facing data analysis, including deep-dive information and requirements gathering, and creation of proof-of-concept business solutions.
Prior experience working with large datasets strongly preferred
Prior experience with at least one numerical scripting language preferred (e.g. R, python)
Self-motivated, outgoing, organized, efficient and a strategic thinker
Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
Formal engineering experience a plus
Willingness to travel
