Responsibilities:
Work interactively with senior management and serve as right hand contributor to the Financial Reporting leader
Primary involvement with the monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing processes
Assist in review of 10K and 10Q
Support internal control initiatives and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements as well as external and internal audit activities
Support multiple business segments and the research needs of technical accounting issues and implement ensuring compliance with company and GAAP guidelines
Obtain, validate and review information provided to external resources to be used in external valuations
Work with external advisors and internal staff to interpret new FASB pronouncements, SEC rulings and GAAP pronouncements
Direct resolution of all accounting issues and responsible for ensuring proper documentation of all accounting issues, related matters and application of related controls
Support special projects as necessary
Interface with all levels of management
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience
BS in Accounting or Finance
CPA ((Big 4 experience highly desirable)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong technical US GAAP accounting knowledge
