Wall Street Systems Business Analysts will work within the Client Support Team for a leading software house in the Treasury and Capital Markets area. Wall Street Systems has 500 employees servicing over 300 banking, corporate and central bank customers, operating out of 12 offices worldwide.
The aim of this posting is to find candidates of a very high academic standard who are seeking career opportunities within the IT or Financial Services Sector. The main responsibilities will consist of assisting clients with advice and analytical support regarding our software, solving complex technical and configuration problems and reacting to critical issues on a timely basis. A significant portion of time is spent building client relationships, fixing client issues and liaising with R&D to report issues and work on code and configuration solutions.

Required Skills
Relevant degree qualification, ideally in Economics, Business or Finance
Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of the Financial Services Sector.
Computer literacy: deep understanding of databases, SQL or familiarity with technology desirable.(amongst with experience in Java, Web & J2EE solutions and knowledge in Performance & Tuning, SUN, HP and/or MS servers os; Oracle rdbms; scripting languages like shell, python, perl, java script, xml, xssl; knowledge in SQL, PL/SQL database programming)
If the candidate has a specialist area such as having worked with other Treasury and Portfolio Management systems it is a plus;
Experience of work in support area within a multi-cultural environment is an asset
Required Experience
3 to 4 years of related technology experience
Bachelor?s degree in technology/computer science
Should be able to communicate effectively across all business functions;
Self motivated and service minded;
Should be able to work independently as well as within a team;
Should be able to work on several tasks at the same time;
Should be able to fight against the deadlines and cope with stress, and work in a constantly evolving environment;
The candidate must be prepared to travel when necessary to perform some onsite support as well as spending several weeks / few months in different WSS offices;
Should be able to read and understand contract with clients and being commercially aware.
