Technical Analyst (TA)
Job Purpose:
The Technical Analyst uses configuration tools to implement Client Financial Reporting websites for our clients. The ideal candidate for the Technical Analyst role has a background supporting users of web applications and troubleshooting issues customers may experience when using such an application. The applicant must have strong analytical skills, a passion for delivering excellent customer service, be well organized and able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, the candidate must have effective time and project management skills to push initiatives and results efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Accomplishes configuration project requirements under the guidance of project managers and Senior Technical Analyst staff.
Will be responsible to configure data acquisition services, views, dashboards and workflow solutions for our financial services clients.
Verifies configuration by performing unit testing of configured functionality.
Ensures documentation of configurations and issue remediation.
Utilizes knowledge of Vista One product features and best practices to make solution recommendations and estimate work effort.
Assesses customer-reported issues and applies department and organization objectives to determine prioritization and escalation; proactively communicates regarding identified issues.
Participates in internal training associated with product features and system governance processes.
Efficient incident management, while maintaining deliverables and adherence to Service Level Agreements.
Serves as an internal knowledge resource for other members of the organization.
Updates job knowledge by participating in internal and external educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
Education:
Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science
Required Skills:
Excellent working knowledge of understanding of O-O languages.
Architectural understanding of web applications.
Working knowledge of web languages and frameworks. (HTML, CSS, XML, XSLT, JavaScript/JQuery).
Working experience with test automation and testing tools preferred. (Selenium, Jmeter, DejaClick).
Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Self-starter with strong problem solving skills.
Excellent with both written and verbal communication.
Ability to mentor and be mentored by your co-workers.
Initiative to work both independently and as part of a multi-national team.
