Technical Analyst Wall Street Systems
Wall Street Systems, Inc. seeks Technical Analyst in New York, New York.
Job duties include:
Provide support of customer and technical requirements for highly specialized financial systems and to provide software based solution to meet user requirements. Configuration of treasury front office and risk management functionality to fulfill those requirements. Provide accurate analysis of technical issues with appropriate solutions. Configure the application to the customer?s business and technical requirements. Create Customer Specific Development (CSD) and System configuration, solutions as part of the customization process. Provide required information for problem analysis for Support functions. Provide creative and practical solutions to facilitate improved processes and implementation. Implement/upgrade Wallstreet Systems Suite software on a customer specific hardware environment. Implement interfaces between Wallstreets Systems Suite and third party systems. Provide, download and package CSDs, Interfaces and Hofixes including provide instructions to implement in other environments. Deliver training/documentation to clients. Plan, perform and document testing of new and existing functionality to defined specifications/requirements.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field plus 7 years of experience working with financial institutions and large corporations.
Strong experience implementing software solutions within the corporate/treasury space.
Experience with system and process issue determination, development and implementing in the following areas for large banking and corporate environments: front office functions (trade booking, FX, Money Market, Securities & derivative products), back office operations (confirmation & settlements).
Experience customizing financial and risk management systems for front office, risk, account and back office functions to support business re-engineering initiatives.
Experience in system development life cycle on financial system implementation projects, system analysis, implementation, deployment, maintenance and remediation.
Experience in development of Structured Query programs (SQL), Oracle, MSSQL and Sybase.
Experience in supporting Solaris , Linux and Windows environments. Experience in Perl, Python ,UNIX sh shell and windows cmd.
Travel to client sites as needed.
40 hours/week. Must also have authority to work permanently in the U.S.
