Bridgevine has an excellent opportunity for a Technical Business Analyst to be based out of our office in Alpharetta, Georgia. Bridgevine is looking to hire a Technical Business Analyst who has expertise in telecommunication product APIs. The Technical business analyst will define integration specifications with telecommunication, satellite and home security providers for their phone, internet, video and home security products. This person will work with development teams to get those specifications implemented, will work with support and QA departments to trouble shoot and fix issues and will coordinate rollouts with telecommunication companies.
The key responsibilities for the Technical Business Analyst are as follows:
? Develop technical specifications for API integrations for telecommunication, satellite and home security products.
? Work with development teams to get APIs implemented.
? Interface with partners to understand their APIs and coordinate releases.
? Troubleshoot issues.
? Monitor health of API integrations.
? Develop ideas to improve integrations to positively impact business results.
? Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fields.
? Minimum 5 years? experience in software development and/or specifications development.
? Extensive experience with complex API integrations.
? Knowledge of XML and JSON.
? Prior experience working with APIs in one or more of the following service providers:
Telco: Verizon, CenturyLink, Qwest, AT&T, Cincinnati Bell, Windstream
Movers/Aggregators: Acceller, Saveology, WhiteFence, AllConnect, GetConnected, ClearLink
Cable: TWC, Comcast, BrightHouse
? Experience with Satellite or Home Security product APIs is a plus.
? Ability to interact with partners.
? Experience with production support and trouble shooting.
? Have multiple years of hands on development experience.
? Analytical team player.
