Summary: We are looking for a highly-motivated Technical Business Analyst who wants to join the team in our Irving, TX office and be a part of a world-class technology organization. Due to our rapid growth, we seek a detail oriented individual who can work closely with the key accounts team to support technical needs for the program.
The Technical Business Analyst will be responsible for managing business analyses, workflow analyses, requirements definition, and QA testing activities for carrier development and support projects. The position is responsible for the planning, organizing, developing, and controlling of the overall business specification for assigned carrier business support systems. This position is the key interface to the business and development in delivering the business direction for business and technology initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Technical Business Analyst is accountable for the overall delivery of technical solutions and support to the Carrier account teams.
Provide technical account leadership and serve as a front-line technical resource for assigned key accounts
Ensure / track full deployment of trade-in applications in customer environments
Build deep technical expertise on the trade-in applications and use those skills to address customer issues as needed
Provide clear and thoroughly documented product feedback and new requirements to development teams based on customer requirements
Help document best practices in the usage and deployment of trade-in applications in customer environments
Business requirements ? interaction with the account team and customer to capture and document new and modified system requirements, translate these into technical requirements and development tracking tickets
Create and execute QA test plans ? prior to deployment
Post deployment support and training
Project Management ? lead calls, manage deliverable dates and schedules, drive resolution on technical issues
Responsible for recognizing and communicating the effects and impacts feature development will have on other areas of the business
Generate new reports and maintain/update existing reports
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents.
Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues.
Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style.
Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups.
Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.
Ability to calculate complex figures.
Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.
Develops, manages, and maintains project financial tracking and reporting systems and output.
Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations.
Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve general results.

Strong conceptual knowledge of systems alignments, processes, data structures - bridging this information with business workflows and requirements
Comprehensive understanding of business processes and practices with strong knowledge of business systems
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering. Strong consideration will be given for advanced degrees in related fields and related professional certifications.
5-10 years of combined business and/or IT experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, ScrumMaster (CSM) or ITIL certification preferred.
At least 5 years of formal SDLC including Waterfall and Iterative development teams
Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing solutions for a growing organization.
Experience with Microsoft Project or other Enterprise Scheduling tools and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Visio experience a plus.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), time management skills, professionalism, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced, cross-functional environment
