Very Strong SSIS skills
Ability to work independently with little oversight
Able to have conversations with the business about requests that are in scope vs out of scope Understanding the business issues and the big picture, ability to provide solutions to the business, they are an Agile environment, so understanding of that methodology is a plus
Great documentation skills
Write requirements using word templates and use cases
User interface and screen design / mockups, data mapping, data analysis
UML modeling is a nice to have
Translates business needs into project requirements while ensuring a technically feasible solution.
Active management of business expectations from project inception through delivery and support.
Expertise in all phases of software development lifecycle.
Directs technical and business resources in accordance with prioritized work plans for each project phase.
Interface with all levels of management to gather requirements and design solutions to meet business needs.
Participates in the requirements development for applying business needs to technical applications.
Knowledge of the system requirements definition (RD) processes and modeling methods and tools
Define and document internal and external user interfaces and support system and data requirement clarification & definition.
Ability to tailor information to multiple user audiences, including customers and senior management
Knowledge and understanding of Information Technology industry trends, directions and market experience; ability to relate them to own organization
Knowledge of tools, techniques and good practices for protecting the integrity of corporate data and associated processing, company technology practices, standards and procedures
Highly developed oral and written communications skills
Experience with creating and executing test cases to validate requirements
Proven ability to read business requirements, map them to functional requirements, and write complex SQL to validate post implementation data results
Proven ability to take reported user experience/observation with data, review associated data in data base using complex SQL, read functional requirements and triage total number of records impacted by data issue and next steps toward resolution, with support of a lead developer
Ability to work with both IT staff and end user community
Proven ability to execute testing and data validation procedures
Proven ability to multi task and manage to aggressive timelines
At least 10 years of professional experience
BA/BS degree preferred
Health Care domain experience, HR Health Care Enrollment, or Health Insurance experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
