Description of the Role

The Business Solution Consultant (Technical) assists in the creation and customization of demonstrations for potential clients as well as responding to RFI/RFPs. The primary role of the position will be focused on the positioning of the Infor ION technology, developing “demo toolsâ€, events, workflows and various examples highlighting the current Infor technology. The position will also be responsible for responding to technical questions and to complete technical sizing questionnaires for the various Infor Financial solutions. The position will be called upon to assist in building custom demonstrations and typically reports to the Director, Business Consulting.

Target Customers/Territory:

Mid/Larger businesses typically >US$ 50m turnover usually within the EMEA

Travel

The team cover Europe, Middle East and Africa. Due to the nature of our work you may be expected to travel at very short notice and must hold a current EC passport.

Education

The role is essentially biased towards technology and whilst formal qualifications are important, (degree level) subject matter and presentation skills will be the determining factor.

Experience

You must have an experience in a similar role or as a technical consultant.

Languages

You must speak English and French fluently.

Technical Skills

You must have a strong technical background with familiarization in .net, J2EE, XML, HTML, SQL.

Other Skills

Experience in public speaking/presentations would be an advantage. Knowledge of Infor SunSystems Software is a plus.

Remuneration/conditions

Salary negotiable plus commission/bonus, car allowance, pension and medical cover.
