Technical Community Evangelist Boomi
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The Technical Community Program Manager & Evangelist role is a full-time position responsible for improving our user's experience through the community by the community.
The person for this role will be responsible for executing scalable programs to make developers worldwide successful while improving developer satisfaction and reducing support costs with community-based self-service support. This individual will develop a plan that will inspire our developers to engage with our platform technologies, and educate and enable them to innovate and achieve success. The person will build a vibrant and active community; ensure it is the go to place for Dell Boomi technology expertise for architects, designers, developers, and admins, across the Dell Boomi ecosystem. This individual will assess our developer?s experience and discover opportunities to improve the on-boarding process and make life easier for developers on our platform.
Define and drive the strategy for building a robust and active developer community
Evangelize our technologies via interactions with the developer community; help the developers envision their ability to build forward thinking integrations
Collaborate with internal specialist such as engineering, product marketing, product management, sales, support and service to provide customer and partner account support to drive adoption of our technologies
Drive best practices adoption within the internal and external developer communities
Work closely with internal product teams (product owners and developers) to comprehend and influence upcoming platform technologies, features and tools
Engage the internal and external community participants to contribute thought-leading commentary and opinion, video materials and web content
Understand the key partners in the ecosystem and nurture their use of the community
Publish meaningful content that allow developers, partners and customers to quickly understand and utilize our platform technologies
Ensure better product experiences by driving the development of solutions for the community by the community
Make on boarding easier which is a critical part in the cycle of getting developer?s attention and making sure they have a pleasant overall experience
Gather data from the community and analyze the data to create insights about future content, activities and overall direction of the community
Monitor and moderate community threads to promote constructive discussion and positive product perceptions
Understanding of commercial software development practices, methodologies, and tools
Passionate and knowledgeable about exploring and experimenting with the latest technologies
Excellent presentation, demonstration, and inter-personal communication skills (written and verbal)
Working knowledge of modern web technologies and cloud computing
Exposure to enterprise application architecture
Deep analytical skills enabling comprehension and development of complex business and technical issues, topics and plans
Methodical and organized; able to manage multiple opportunities, projects and priorities concurrently
Talented at explaining complex topics clearly and concisely, and effective at providing practical guidance
Ability to travel up to 25%
Experience with application integration development and/or design experience
BA/BS in Computer Science or similar technical degree or equivalent experience
8+ years work experience as a software developer, architect, technology evangelist, consultant, or product manager for relevant web technologies
