POSITION: Technical Consultant

LOCATION: Prefer Minneapolis/St. Paul but could be remote

SUMMARY: Technical Field consultant responsible for technical installation, setup, configuration, and modification of customer systems.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Installation and configuration of ERP software
• Windows operating system installation, tuning, and troubleshooting
• Planning and estimating
• Microsoft SQL administration, installation, maintenance
• Setup and tuning of application and web server
• Network troubleshooting
• Licensing and infrastructure
• Develop customizations using a variety of tools and programming languages
• Extensive travel required, some weekend work

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• B.S. in Computer Science or related field and equivalent experience
• Five plus years system or SQL administration experience
• SQL certification/expertise
• Prior consulting experience desired

Required Skills:

• Broad-based technical background
• SQL and Windows server administration
• Communication and project management skills
• Strong programming skills
• Proficient in technical trouble-shooting and problem solving

preferred skills & KNOWLEDGE:

• ERP systems experience
• Knowledge of SAP Business One administration
