Technical Consultant
AtTask, Inc., the leading provider of project management software, has an immediate opening for a Technical Consultant.
The position will primarily have responsibility for ensuring the success of our customers by effectively developing integrations between the AtTask project portfolio management solution and other in-house solutions used by the customer. The position will work directly with other departments throughout the Company, reporting to the Director of Consulting Services. In addition, the Technical Consultant will help continue development of an outstanding professional services organization in an employee-oriented, high performance company culture that emphasizes superior quality, continuous improvement and productivity standards.
This role requires a proactive and results oriented individual with the ability to work on assigned tasks, as well as independently identify other value-added activities.
Duties:
Design and develop efficient integration solutions between AtTask and other internal systems including SalesForce, various ERP systems (ie. Oracle, SAP, Peoplesoft, JDE, etc.), IT Ticketing systems (Jira, etc.), CRM and Payroll systems, etc. to achieve a customer?s business objectives following a standardized methodology and approach.
Support the sales team during the sales cycle to ensure the customer?s integration requirements and business objectives are defined and the expectations are set appropriately.
Develop integration designs that promote a strategic vision highlighting how the integrated solution will provide value to the customer?s company while solving their near-term defined business problems.
Develop proposals and SOWs that align with the defined requirements and plan created during the sales cycle.
Complete documentation and required deliverables identified as part of our best practices methodology during the implementation cycle.
Deliver high-quality consulting services to ensure our customer?s solution implementation and go-live success.
Serve as a mentor, coach, knowledge resource, and escalation point for the customer.
Create content to contribute to our continuous improvement of our methodologies, templates, etc including but not limited to best practices, certification programs, and product management.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
Minimum of 5 years integration design and development experience. Minimum 3 years customer-facing consulting experience.
Excellent understanding of and experience with web services, SOAP and RESTful. Knowledge of multiple common development languages including PHP, Java/JSP, ASP.Net/C#, JSON parsing, JQuery, JS framework i.e ExtJS, Reporting Frameworks, Report Writing experience, PowerShell
Familiarity with common databases including Oracle, SQL, MySQL and experience working in both Windows and Unix/Linux environments
Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving and relationship/leadership skills.
Excellent analytical skills including ability to guide customers as to best practices integrations design
Ability to work on multiple tasks and able to prioritize personal workload.
Ability to develop and deliver creative business solutions for complex integration problems.
Proven track record of delivering complete integration solutions for at least 10 projects. (Customer references may be required as part of the interview process)
Strong technical writing experience.
Must be willing to travel up to 50% (home on weekends)
