About the Job:
Twilio is looking for a developer-savvy content producer to set a new bar of excellence for technical documentation. A full-time position for the multimedia creator and writer that loves code, our Technical Content Producer is someone who believes developer documentation is still inadequate with plenty of room to change the game. Ability to shoot, produce, and edit video and screencasts for the web is key. Writing skills, creativity, time management and organizational skills are also critical. The Technical Content Producer will be an integral part of Twilio?s developer evangelism team and help to reset developer?s expectations for telling stories with code.
With exposure to multiple teams, there will be plenty of opportunities to take on new projects. The ideal candidate will only be limited by their willingness to learn and grow professionally.
Generate content - blog posts, sample code, screencasts, videos, how tos, tweets - looking for new ways to inspire and equip developers to change communications forever.
Help developers envision, build, and ship projects and products using Twilio and the power of multimedia and web content.
Expert in video editing and multimedia production tools including Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Logic Pro, and other tool to produce high value content.
Experience with content management systems and HTML, CSS.
3-5 years coding experience preferred.
Strong body of work.
A bias towards action and the ability to work well in a fast-paced and constantly changing startup environment.
Extremely organized and detail-oriented with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines, often working on several projects simultaneously.
Proactive and thoughtful communicator, both over the phone and via email.
Team player but can also work independently, make decisions and not afraid to work without a safety net.
Work onsite in our office in San Francisco, CA or New York, NY.
Previous experience as a web developer, technical evangelist, technical product manager or other.
Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
