Who are we looking for?
Engineers who write.
Your biggest challenge will be explaining technical concepts simply to non-techs.
You will be expected to be able to introduce technical concepts inside of a broader context that provide, in simple language, the influence of some technology on business operations, like software releases, sales, support, customer relations etc.
You will be providing the main core of the technical subject.

You must be published and have authored articles, blog posts, reports and other collateral of different types. You are encouraged to have your own, even inactive, blog or content portal.
You will need to do research, both primary and Internet trolling. Finding out relevant information quickly and understanding the relationship and context.
Project planning is important, and good time management, including leisure hours, is a strong benefit to handling this job.
Able to flexibly change your tone and style in order to speak to not only completely different audiences, but to the various behavioral states of your target audience.
Comfortable talking in front of groups, making videos to go with our content, lead in your own way, develop your personal connections with the industry and become a face in the company.
Understanding the importance of psychology and language when preparing content is a great plus ? it would be nice to hear that you are well-read ;-).
Output: Weekly blog posts; contribute to monthly product/technology/industry reports and quarterly research/academic publications, and write website content related to our products, technologies and company.
Creating: Individually- and crowd-sourced Technical content, how-tos/Guides, Surveys and Reports, Press releases, Tweets and other posts, Videos and Audiocasts.
Reading and Editing: Research, skimming the news and summarizing important happenings in the industry, revamping and proofreading existing content related to our reports, products and company.
Communicating: Using your professional platform to interact with individuals and media organizations for the purpose of promoting our expertise.
University or educational background in Computer Science.
