Technical Engineer II, Client Services Greenway Medical Technologies
Responsible for defining and/or designing technical requirements and recommending appropriate technical solutions that support the achievement of sales goals and implementation strategies related to Enterprise customers (hospitals, MSO, IPAs, etc). Responsibilities may be defined by named accounts, geography, channel or industry, and/or defined products and solutions. Understands specific markets and how Greenway solutions best meet both customer and sales team objectives (technical, financial, and strategic). Develops strong relationships with implementation and sales teams, internal engineering, and key technical customer contacts and leverages these resources to Greenway?s advantage with minimal supervision. Develops, customizes and delivers high impact solution/product presentations. Accountable for development and execution of a technology strategy for assigned accounts or territory. Represents and communicates the technical elements of solutions to customers and/or partners seamlessly.
To help, advise and guide Clients in selection of appropriate solutions to match identified business needs and to provide technical information/support to Implementation Project and Resource Managers as well as Sales Account Managers in the achievement of Global revenue objectives. Depending on client base, have the ability to take joint ownership of assigned accounts with Account Manager and lead account management on technical issues. Communicates with clients about emerging technologies, plus communication strategies and develops an understanding of clients? business needs in order to protect, retain and increase revenues. Develops strategies with customers to anticipate and address long-term business needs. Anticipates the customer?s needs and identifies appropriate alternatives. Called upon to provide technical information for difficult, sensitive or critically important accounts. Influences customers and diffuses potential problems. Communicate effectively with other "virtual team" members (Business Consultants, Operations, Customer Service, Accounting, Finance, etc.) to ensure swift resolution of problems and assist in the development of Sales Engineering/Sales/Support teams via training and coaching. Provide input for proposals by producing network diagrams, responses, etc to Technical Sections. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the HIT industry and Greenway systems, procedures, networks, products and services to enable effective client communications. Provide accurate account information/reports to Client Services, and Sales leadership and Sales Operations on a regular basis. Strong communications, business/marketing, financial, and computer skills required.
Responsibilities/Expectations:
? Assist in coordination of technical implementation and sales activities related to enterprise client accounts, partners and/or territory.
? Transfer industry, technical, and product knowledge to customers and partners.
? Learn relevant solution sets, architectures and full product line specifications.
? Keep up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions, products and services.
? Participate in technical presentations for customers, partners and prospects.
? Assist in the development of formal sales and implementation proposals.
? Follow the activities of the Virtual Teams, but may not be an active participant.
? Set-up and operate equipment for customer demonstrations and evaluations.
? Proactive Execution on established plans to prevent post sales and pre-implementation issues that shorten time to revenue.
Qualifications: Requires a broad range of skills within a professional discipline to effectively perform complex assignments; demands familiarity with principles, theories, concepts and technologies as well as applied knowledge of established procedures, policies and practices. Generally requires a BS degree and 7+ years experience in a related discipline
Required Certification & Experience:
Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
