We are currently seeking a Technical Implementation Lead for our Emergency Department products, in our Picis division of UHG. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast paced and challenging work environment. Candidates interested in this job opportunity will reside in close proximity to a major airport and will work from their home office and will travel to client sites around the country.
The Technical Implementation Lead is a dedicated point person specific to all active accounts for ED Pulsecheck implementations. This person will own and be required to either troubleshoot or expedite the resolution of all technical and programmatic issues until the account has been transitioned over to the standard post go-live support model. The ED TL is also the key technical liaison for both internal and client project teams, and must be readily available to the PMO if called upon to resolve technical issues within the scope of an implementation.
Overview of Responsibilities:
--?- Provide technical solutions to problems that surface during the lifecycle of an ED Pulsecheck implementation.
--?- Act as single point of contact for process consultants, project managers and training specialists who are in the field in need technical for ED PulseCheck.
--?- Identify the core problem, fix it, or direct it to the appropriate department(s) for resolution.
--?- Juggle multiple client assignments
--?- Act as a dedicated application support resource for major on-site visits. This includes trainings and go-live events.
--?- Work with client and internal interface resources to ensure systems integration goals stay on track and get properly tested.
--?- Work with client IT staff directly to ensure for the proper functioning and installation of third party applications or hardware specific to ED Pulsecheck
--?- Assist in the development of learning materials and best practice documents for PLS specific to technical implementation strategies for future clients.

Qualifications
Required:
--?- 1+ years experience with ED PulseCheck
--?- 1+ years experience in larger healthcare information systems
--?- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of products
--?- Ability to travel at least 80%
Assets:
--?- 1+ years of technical support for web-based applications
--?- Knowledge of HTML, SQL, HL7, Perl programming
--?- Knowledge of MSSQL DB structure and table relationships
--?- Experience with hospital HIS implementation projects
--?- Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience
