Technical Implementation Lead - Healthcare IT (363837) Picis
Description
We are currently seeking a Technical Implementation Lead for Picis Inc., part of OptumInsight, a division of UnitedHealth Group. Picis provides innovative information solutions that enable rapid and sustained delivery of clinical, financial and operational results in the acute care areas of hospitals.
The Technical Implementation Lead assists the Project Manager in creating project plans, focusing on the technical side of the implementations and is responsible for delivering the technical components on time and operational across all Picis Caresuite applications.

Responsibilities:
Assists Project Manager with the technical side of the project plans, communicates progress reports, "After Action" reports, end-of-project reports and follow-on action recommendations
Escalates any client concerns to the Project Manager for resolution
Manages the overall progress, use of internal resources and initiates corrective action where necessary for the technical side of the project
Manages technical risks, including development of contingency plans, and ensures appropriate mitigation is in place
Reports to the Technical Project Management Manager as appropriate, reports exceptions and seeks direction as required
On site for the key project milestones (Kick Off, Testing and Activation).
First level of technical support while on site. Works with Technical Support teams at Picis when necessary
Participates on the project regular conference calls along with the rest of the Implementation Project Team
Works with Picis Product Management and Picis Software Project Management to coordinate deployment and delivery plans, including tools for new releases when necessary
The position is a home-based position and can be located anywhere in the US, near a major airport.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Ability to travel up to 80 of the time anywhere in the US and Canada
Experience troubleshooting software and/or hardware
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Strong analytical, organization, and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize appropriately
Assets:
Bachelors Degree or higher education in Computer Science or Engineering
Advanced Microsoft Windows application knowledge (SQL Server, Windows WS and Server)
Relational Databases and SQL Language knowledge
3+ years of technical support or similar experience preferred
Exposure to healthcare automation practices preferred
