Our Hosted PrimeSUITE team is looking to add a Technical Infrastructure Analyst to our rapidly growing group within the Greenway family. The right individual will have a mix of technical savvy, inherent customer service attitude, a strong willingness to learn, and a positive can-do attitude.
Role:
The Technical Infrastructure Analyst is responsible for assisting the Sr. Engineers and Management with the configuration of new hosted PrimeSUITE customers, maintenance of new and existing hardware / software infrastructure, monitoring the production environment while maintaining the highest level of system uptime. This individual will also provide Tier I / II technical support of the hosted PrimeSUITE environment to both internal and external customers. This individual helps ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff, customers, and Partners. A willingness to learn, share ideas and provide top level service to our customers is a must.
Responsibilities may include but not limited to:
Analyze system logs to identify potential issues
Assist in documentation of system configuration and best practices analysis
Assist in identifying and implementing automated approaches for system administration tasks
Assist in regular security and performance monitoring
Liaison between customers, support, development and hosting partner
Provide customer support analysts with Tier I / II support on IT related issues
Responsibilities sometimes require working evenings and weekends, sometimes with little advanced notice
Occasional light travel may be required (less than 10%)
Skills and Qualifications:
Basic understanding of and troubleshooting ability across a wide range of IT functions including (but not limited to):
Microsoft Server 2008 R2 is necessary
Microsoft SQL Server Administration experience is a must
Microsoft IIS 7.5 is a requriement
Microsoft Remote Desktop Services
Hardware load balancing
Remote Desktop Session Printing
Active Directory Services / Windows profiles management
Identifying latency sources
Peripherals (printing / scanning)
Basic networking / Wireless technology
Desktop OS (XP / Vista / Win 7)
Ability to effectively relay technical information to non-technical people is a must
3 to 5 years in Windows System Administration
3 to 5 years in a customer supporting role
Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science is strongly preferred, 5+ years? experience without degree is required
