Job Overview:
The Community and Education team at NICE Systems is responsible for the creation and delivery of effective and engaging content that enables our customers, partners, and employees to become self-sufficient with our enterprise software products. We are seeking an experienced professional with direct experience in technical training to customize and deliver training. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with an engaging in-person and online presence and is comfortable working with a highly technical audience. In this role, the instructor will also be an active advisor to customers in planning their overall training needs and will directly participate in the creation of our education products and deliverables. Deliver NICE training courses to a diverse adult audience in both classroom and online (virtual) environments
Prepare for training events by structuring content and activities to match the audience needs, stay flexible as requirements and agendas are adjusted with short lead time
Quickly master new products, features, and tools as they are rolled out by the organization
Actively participate in the creation and refinement of training course content and deliverables, including various media to support learning (e.g., visual aids for classroom training, multimedia for e-learning and online training, documentation)
Complete training assessments and prescribe appropriate training plans for customers
Collaborate and consult with department SMEs to validate training objectives and ensure content is accurate
Contribute to the development of comprehensive education strategies for integration with Sales, Consulting Services, and Customer Success initiatives
Create and enforce content standards and best practices across all education materials and deliverables
Help with the design and maintenance of training ?environments? (classroom and online systems)
Contribute to the development of course evaluations and assessments to measure learning
Work closely with the documentation team to feed information from the field back into the product documentation
Assist in the establishment of a formal certification program
Travel to customer locations both domestic and international will be required (25-50%)
Required Skills/Experience:
2+ years of proven success in delivering technical training in a mix of both online (virtual) and classroom mediums to an adult audience
3+ years experience (training, consulting, or system implementations) with one or more of the following: Enterprise software applications (e.g., Avaya, Siebel, Genesys, SAP); Reporting/Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Business Objects, Cognos, MicroStrategy); EAI tools (e.g. WebMethods, TIBCO); or database applications (e.g., Oracle, IBM)
Familiarity with basic SQL and HTML and fundamental programming concepts (deep programming skills not required)
Data analysis skills ? ability to work with formulas, calculations, and source data
Ability to maintain a holistic vision for training objectives while diving into the details of actual content creation and delivery
Ability to manage shifting deadlines and make informed decisions related to trade-offs and adjustments
Ability to independently manage task lists and multiple projects simultaneously in an organized fashion
Experience creating learning experiences under a structured instructional design framework (ADDIE or similar) is a plus
Experience with a Learning Management Systems such as Moodle, Blackboard, and Saba is a plus
Proficiency at creating graphics and animations with tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Captivate, and/or Flash is a plus
Expertise with Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Word applications
Excellent customer-facing skills and advisory capabilities
Ability and willingness to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment
Bachelor's degree in a technical field (or equivalent)
