Technical Integration Consultant - Healthcare
§ Analyse, design, develop, implement and test the developed object (interfaces).
§ Work with multiple messaging data standards, including HL7 v2 and v3, EDI/X12, NCPDP, with an emphasis on HL7.
§ Maintain communications with the Lawson Project Manager or engagement owner and the client's integration technology project team.
§ Analyze and interpret client requirements; draft functional descriptions and/or programming specifications as required.
§ Interpreted 3rd party vendor's functional specifications and translate into technical design documentation.
§ Understand the client's business and implementation workflow impacts, specific to the customizations or modifications developed.
§ Provide evaluations, scoping and estimates for integration development activities.
§ Work with XML and XSD definitions. Work with communication protocols such as TCP/IP, MQ, FTP, HTTP, SSL and ODBC connectivity.
§ Some travel to other office locations and client facilities.
§ Candidates must be bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken.
§ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent work experience in programming software for operating systems, utilizing machine assembly and/or job control languages and working knowledge of software capabilities.
§ Ability to develop SQL scripts/programs for querying and writing to databases.
§ Ability to develop code in Java, TCL, SQL, C, Shell, Batch scripts.
§ Knowledge of Cloverleaf and other integration engines is an asset
§ Requires a strong desire to learn the technical infrastructure, development environments, third party products used to support the Infor applications.
§ Demonstrated technology consulting expertise when interfacing with clients.
§ Exceptional communication skills.
§ Healthcare integration experience preferred. Industry experience desirable.
