Description
The Technical Integration Manager will be responsible for administrating and operating web analytics tools as dictated by the needs of our Paid Search marketers and clients. An advanced understanding of web analytics data collection and processing is a must for any candidate. This person may also be assigned to train and/or mentor others in their duties and responsibilities of web analytics and related job functions. Will design reporting dashboards and templates, configure alerts, and take a role in using web analytics to improve business operations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Work with account teams, strategists and media teams to understand and document business, technical, and reporting requirements, and to develop solutions to ensure success
Conduct ad hoc analysis using Excel, SAS and SQL
Assist clients to expand their usage of analytics tools and drive internal/ external client user adoption
Assist media teams with the tracking and enhancement marketing efforts
Provide expertise in site tagging in support of client business goals and to enable reporting/analysis
Produce reporting, analysis, and recommendations to improve website and marketing performance
Use and create in-tool dashboards and custom reports
Use your understanding of web analytics data collection and processing and to train Paid Media team members
Ability to translate business goals into KPIs and reporting requirements
Ability to identify the need for alerts to inform business and IT users of problems with the website using available tools
Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in data analytics (preferably some experience in an agency setting)
Focused experience operating one-site analytics platforms, for example: WebTrends, Omniture, Google Analytics, Coremetrics, Unica
Knowledge of IT infrastructure concepts
Deep understanding of Excel including Pivot tables and/or macros
Experience presenting analysis results to executive staff with PowerPoint
Experience managing and prioritizing report requests from multiple groups
Excellent presentation skills both oral and written
Knowledge of bid management platforms, for example: Kenshoo, Marin, SearchCenter, Dart Search
Google certified a plus
Independent, self reliant, with high standards for quality
Strong interest in web analytics as a career
Team player ? Ability to work with multiple cross-functional external and internal groups
Degree in Statistics, Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, Digital Media, Business, Math, Quantitative Research or related field
