AtTask is looking for a talented technical leader to work in a fast paced high growth company. This position will be in charge of managing a small team of software engineers in a new business segment. The position will be technically engaged on the front lines in support of our partners in deploying and maintaining our software for enterprise clients.
Our engineering teams utilize ?real? agile practices is a highly collaborative environment. Right candidate must not only have the technical chops and engineering kung-fu - but also be a solid fit for our AtTask culture.
Solution Development and Delivery
Provides technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration for client engagement from definition phase through implementation.
Applies significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our clients.
Reviews work of development team.
Easily recognizes system deficiencies and implements effective solutions.
Technical Effort Management
Creates and executes development plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Ensures technical teams are contributing to our code library.
Performs code reviews and mentors junior developers.
Manages technical resources within budget and project schedule.
Consistently delivers high-quality services to our clients.
Facilitates team and client meetings effectively.
Holds regular status meetings with development team.
Keeps development team well informed of changes within the organization and general corporate news.
Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
Challenges others to develop as leaders while serving as a role model.
Manages the development of team by ensuring that project tasks are in line with each Innovator's career
interests when possible.
Inspires coworkers to attain goals and pursue excellence.
Facilitates effective team interaction.
Acknowledges and appreciates each team member's contributions.
Effectively utilizes each team member to his/her fullest potential.
Keeps track of lessons learned and shares those lessons with team members.

Builds a knowledge base of each partner?s business, systems and objectives
B.S - Computer Science or related field preferred
10+ years working in IT domain
8+ years experience with the Java programming language
2+ years Experience managing engineering teams on projects
2+ years solution engineering or related role preferred.
