Responsibilities
The Technical Team Lead of a PRISM COTS Software implementation project is responsible for the successful technical delivery of Compusearch?s software solution within complex Federal clients. PRISM is the leading COTS Federal acquisition and grants management software solution for the US Federal market. The Technical Lead is responsible for work stream management with primary responsibilities including:
Leading our clients and Compusearch implementation team to a technical vision and plan for a successful PRISM implementation
Interaction with senior client leadership to establish project goals, execute against plan and identify and manage issues and risks
Leadership of all technical planning and architecture tasks, including configuration management, software design and development, application integration, data migration, data base monitoring and certification and accreditation (C&A) activities
Project technical execution including planning, technical leadership, deliverable preparation and review, schedule monitoring, and risk/issue management
Actively building and maintaining Compusearch?s brand as the leading acquisition and assistance software provider to the U.S. Government
Experience, Skills/Abilities, and Education:
8+ years of professional experience in Public sector system implementation is required
Proven record managing the technical tasks of deploying an Acquisition, Financial Management, or other ERP solution in the Public sector (e.g., SAP, CGI, Oracle)
Technical planning, design and architecture, including Federal agency Enterprise Architecture, network and technical standards required
Hands-on experience managing application hosting environments (development, test, production, etc.), configuration management, redundancy, disaster recovery
Knowledge of data base cluster, preferably Oracle RAC
Knowledge of data mapping and system integration
Experience with data migration from legacy systems
Experience in the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for extensions to COTS products required
Expertise in all elements of test design and management, including unit testing, regression testing, load testing, security testing and user acceptance testing
Knowledge and experience with Federal agency security requirements and the Federal Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process
Expertise in the following technologies is required:
Microsoft .NET, .ASP and general software development
Microsoft IIS and Microsoft Windows 2000/2003
Oracle Databases and PL/SQ
Possesses superior client relationship skills
Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
Problem solver, Self starter, team player
BA or BS degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related discipline; advanced degree a plus
Project Management Professional (PMP) a plus
Physical Requirements: qualified candidates will need to be able to move/traverse into multiple facilities and communicate frequently with co-workers and clients.
