HubSpot is looking for a technical lead to help recruit, mentor, and lead a small group of engineers.
Our development organization comprises many small teams working in concert to create world class web applications and services. We believe that small, empowered, and self-motivated teams can do big things. We are building exactly this kind of team in Dublin and need someone to run it.
Technical leads at HubSpot are passionate, hands-on engineers who own and guide the direction of the products they are responsible for. They also help develop and train the engineers who report directly to them.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with a variety of technologies on the web. Our stack is diverse and includes the following: Java (DropWizard), Python (Django), JavaScript (Backbone.js, CoffeeScript, jQuery), HBase, Hadoop (MapReduce), MySQL, and ZooKeeper. The ideal candidate has experience recruiting and leading teams and has successfully shipped web applications that have scaled to many thousands of users.
