DescriptionsThe Technical Marketing Engineer will be responsible for product marketing and customer support activities in CoAdna Photonics, Inc. This includes providing technical supports to customers, working with customers to define requirements for new product features and capabilities, and working with the R&D organization to implement and validate those enhancements.Job Duties and Responsibilities
This position requires a broad range of skills that involves both technical (hands-on) and product management responsibilities. This individual will be:
Working closely with the sales to provide technical supports to customers on all product and technology related issues, including field support and technical sale training.
Working with the existing and prospective customers to identify new opportunities and generate market requirement document (MRD) to guide new product development.
Creating and communicating CoAdna value proposition by clearly articulating the technical advantages of CoAdna?s solutions. Responsible for writing industry white papers, developing customer presentations and articles promoting CoAdna?s solutions.
Demonstrating prospective solutions to customers and using their feedback to improve the product offering.
Overseeing the schedule and priority of R&D activities for new product developments.
Minimum Required Competencies
M.S. degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Optics or Physics.
Minimum 5 years of industry experience in telecom, fiber optics, optical networking, or related.
Solid technical background with hand-on experience.
Experienced with customer engagement and project leadership.
Demonstrated success working in a matrixed and cross-functional environment, ability to engage completely with the technical and sales communities with good communication and credibility.
