Job Summary
Looking for an energetic, innovative technical product marketer who can make Cloud Identity seem cool! Can you get inside the mind of an Enterprise Architect or Application Developer and appeal to their motivations and challenges through creative technical content and innovative technology demos? You will report to the Director of Product Marketing and be the primary product-technology resource within Product Marketing. You will be responsible for driving and reinforcing Ping?s technical value proposition, building supporting sales collateral and tools and present the product at customers and key industry events. You will also be responsible for developing demo use cases that showcase the enterprise portfolio and key partner technologies. Every day will be different and you will get to collaborate with Sales, Sales Engineering, Product Management, Engineering and the Corporate Communications team to keep the leads flowing and the deals closing. Key things you get to design and own: technical positioning and messaging, technical blog, any and all materials to support the technical side of a sale. Technical whitepapers, and use case demos.

Job Functions
Your main responsibilities will be developing and executing marketing programs and campaigns directed at our technical (Enterprise Architect and Application Developer types). You?ll need to quickly become an expert on our solutions, the market, our customer list, and competition. Once you have that mastered, you?ll create high-impact technical materials that clearly communicate our value to the marketplace. You should be a great writer and communicator.
Other responsibilities include:
Sales tools: Developing technical product presentations, whitepapers, product guides, technical briefs and other tools, to enable sales teams to sell the Ping Enterprise technology story effectively.
Product demonstrations: Designing, delivering and training the field on value-based demonstration, working in conjunction with Sales Engineering.
Product evangelism: Evangelizing and demonstrating Ping solutions at conferences, tradeshows, to analysts and customers.
Competitive intelligence: In conjunction with Product Management, research and maintain technical competitive intelligence in key usage areas and markets, including building technical evaluation labs.
Product positioning: Connecting market and technology trends with Ping?s technology to build technical product positioning and messages for key use cases.
Product launches: Participating in product launches to build technical product messaging, pitching Ping?s technology to analysts and press, developing product collateral and sales tools and general support of the launch plan.
Partnerships: Supporting partnership-related technical product marketing activities.
Industry events: Attending tradeshows and other events to represent Ping and showcase the technology.
Essential Qualifications
5 years in technical product marketing or sales engineering in enterprise software.
An understanding of the enterprise IT software market. It would be great if you had experience in Security, Identity and Access Management or Strong Authentication, but not necessary.
Experience establishing value and translating this to effective technology-based demonstration use cases.
Awesome presentation skills
Ability to effectively articulate and showcase technology with enthusiasm and to different types of audience.
Great collaborator and a proven track record of establishing credibility with key customers, prospects and business partners, technical sales and customer support
