Position Overview
The Technical Marketing Manager will be responsible for key outbound marketing activities for FireEye?s expanding product portfolio. As a core member of the Marketing team, the Technical Marketing Manager will have worldwide responsibility in creating and communicating FireEye?s value proposition by clearly articulating the technical advantages of FireEye?s solutions. You will be responsible for writing industry white papers, developing customer presentations and articles promoting FireEye?s solution capabilities and how they meet and exceed customer/market expectations. Your efforts will result in effective customer facing, technical, pre-sales content (whitepapers, sales tools, solution briefs, videos, etc...). You will also own helping the field in pre-sales situations, drive competitive analysis and lead technical sales training. The Technical Marketing Manager will work closely with Product Management, Product Marketing, Marketing Communications, and Sales. The position reports to the Director of Product Marketing.
Candidate
The successful candidate will have 5+ years of high technology marketing experience. Strong written and oral communication skills are mandatory. Technical acumen in the areas of Web, email, and application security as well as experience with enterprise security products are critical. Candidates with high energy, a responsive attitude, and a desire for success will be given preference.
Required Skills and Attributes:
Bachelor?s degree in a technical field is required, MBA desirable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to engage completely with the technical and sales communities with good communication and credibility
Experience with enterprise security products
Self-motivated, driven and passionate about winning
Team oriented
