Technical Operations Engineer Bullhorn

In the Technical Operations Engineer role, you will be the highest point of Engineering escalation from all company departments in resolving highly complex technical and application related inquiries regarding Bullhorn's software product. As a go-to technical resource in the company, you must be a source of knowledge on all facets of the Bullhorn Software Platform including product releases, site impacting issues and standard maintenance. In this role, you will serve as a liaison from the engineering department to the rest of the company, resolving the most complex technical issues and being a source of technical knowledge, leveraged by all company groups.
Extensively research and document customer software and technical issues
Collaborate with Support Analysts and Support Engineers to identify high priority issues and engage the Technical Operations, Software Engineering and Quality Engineering teams as needed.
Ensure all site impacting events are communicated to support and clients within required SLAs and resolution is properly and promptly communicated.
Lead strategic projects as needed
Assist and mentor Analysts in researching, resolving and documenting customer issues
Respond to off hours calls from Technical Operations personnel to communicate site impacting issues
Work closely with Release Engineering to assist and guide the software release process in order to ensure little to no client impact.
Required Skills and Experience:
Must be a highly creative, curious technologist and problem solver
B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics from an accredited University or College
2+ years experience in Network Administration, Quality Engineering or Technical Support Engineering
Must have programming or scripting experience
2+ years of SQL scripting experience
Must have experience with supporting or integrating application APIs
Must have excellent listening and research skills
Must have strong documentation skills, verbal and written skills
Must have a deep understanding of networking and Internet connectivity
Must have a deep understanding of the software design life cycle
Strong understanding of relational databases
Experience supporting a hosted, enterprise mission-critical application desired
