Lead Technical Operations Engineer
Job Description
The Technical Operations Shift Lead reports to the Technical Operations Manager, and is expected to lead and manage the Production Support Team who works in shifts 24x7 for covering the whole spectrum of Application and Systems Support to a large community of clients.
Must of experience in 24x7 supports and has to work in shifts
Extensive production support experience with ability to handle critical situation under complex systems. Self learner and contributor with ability to pick technical and application knowledge quickly
Make sure each and every alert is addressed and fixed immediately.
Skills and Qulification
- Must have sound knowledge in Unix/Linux and supporting industry standard web-based J2EE applications like â€" JBoss, Weblogic, Websphere
- Experience in supporting high available environments
- Strong Analytical, Problem solving skills with Documentation and organizing capabilities
- Excellent Communication, Presentations, language skills
- Positive ‘Go beyond' attitude
- Graduate in any technology discipline.
- Candidate should have minimum of 4-5 years of experience operation support in monitoring tools
- Knowledge in Unix Shell scripting
- Experience in monitoring tools like Nagios, Cacti,Gomez,Keynote etc ..
- Good exposure to other monitoring tools ( BMC TMart, Gomez and Cacti)
- Should have sound knowledge in Shell,Perl and PHP scripting
Nice to have
- Experience in tools like Blade Logic, GroundWork
- Knowledge in MySQL/Oracle SQL and PLSQL
