Technical Pre-Sales Engineer TokBox, Inc.
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED TokBox is looking for an experience pre-sales engineer to support customer-facing business efforts and on occasion help deliver commercial consulting engagements. You'll move fluidly between developing responses to RFI/RFP's, evangelizing the OpenTok platform, proposing applied architectures to prospective enterprise customers, and leading the deployment following a successful sale. You'll become the face of TokBox to enterprise customers engaged in large-scale OpenTok deployment; your success will create the framework from which we will build out our pre- and post- sales consulting practice.
We're looking for strong hands-on technologists with superb customer skills and a deep passion for solving real-world problems.
Support the development and execution of commercial sales strategies for key customers
Develop accurate and thorough responses to complex RFI/RFP documents
Evangelize OpenTok platform technology to prospective customers through written, video and face-to-face communications
Develop and recommend solutions architectures to educate prospects about how OpenTok can be used to meet their business requirements
Work closely with customers, both on-site and remotely, to help them successfully deploy an OpenTok solution
Represent TokBox professionally throughout the customer lifecycle
Communicate in OpenTok and in how it is presented and delivered to enterprise customers
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (MBA a plus) and/or relevant experience
5+ years experience in technical sales development with prospective customers
Deep technical knowledge with IP communication technologies and solutions
Strong technical and business communication skills, both written and oral, including proven presentation skills
Battle-tested customer and project management skills
Strong applied knowledge of both established and leading-edge, server-side development environments and frameworks (e.g. Java, RoR, node.js, etc.)
Experience working with and successfully selling to telcos
Strong knowledge of WebRTC
Experience delivering projects within a professional services organization
Experience running consulting engagements
Experience developing applications with OpenTok
Familiarity with mobile environments and mobile development (Objective C/iOS or Java/Android)
